Preparing for the race of your life.

My life has been one of many victories separated by unexpected periods of what, at the time, seemed like irredeemable mistakes, but that was my perspective from a human view.

Then I became acquainted with someone who could help me overcome my failures and mistakes. This came about when I heard a man tell me about some of the ways to be made new. When all I could see was my failures, he helped me find hope.

I may be assuming a lot, but just maybe there is someone reading this who is feeling the same way I did back in 1967. If you are that person, stay with me.

Over the last year I have heard from many, shared with all, and hopefully helped some of you. Whatever the circumstance was, whether good or bad, I have made every effort to not judge or condemn anyone or any situation. I hope I have been able to laugh and cry with you while supporting you in all your issues. I will continue to do this as long as needed.

I have made every effort not to preach to you, but never avoid the truth and sharing what God can do for us. It is easy to run to God in times of trouble but when the event is great victory and joy, we seem to forget it was him that made all the good possible. We are in a very trying time, both in our sport of auto racing, as well as life in general. It seems like everyone has a solution, but if we leave God out of the equation. we will never solve the problems we face in our lives.

The season starts in two weeks here in western PA, and many unknowns are in our future, whether you are a racer, an owner, or a promoter. If I could advise you in anything, it would be turn all your needs over to Jesus. He is the source of our strength and provision.

This is the point where I will offer all that are interested my service and support for all you need. I can not offer you money or parts but I will refer you to a passage of scripture from Acts 3:6 (but read the whole chapter to get the full context), and when you read this please put it to use.

 I am really excited about the new season and all it will bring. And above all, I’m excited to be able to serve my racing family in all situations. I will rejoice with you and weep with you if that is the need, and all because Jesus is the central part of my life.
